Planning Applications

The Parish Council is not a planning authority so final decisions on planning applications are the responsibility of South Hams District Council. However, as the Parish Council is a statutory consultee, full details of all planning applications relating to the Parish are sent to the Clerk for consideration by the Council; representations are then returned to the Planning Officer.

How to inspect the plans:-

Parishioners can either…….

a) visit the District Council offices at Follaton House, Totnes [telephone 01803 861234]

OR

b) telephone the Parish Clerk [01752 872538] to check the availability of the Parish Council’s set of plans.

PLANNING SURGERIES If you are in need of planning advice, surgeries are held twice each month at Ivybridge Town Hall and Kingsbridge (Quay House) between 10.00am and 12.00pm. For details, contact South Hams District Council on 01803 861234 and ask for the Planning Office.
