Annual Parish Meeting
What is the Annual Parish Meeting?
This is the Annual Meeting of the Parish and is the meeting where the Parish Council report to its electorate on what it has accomplished in the preceding year. Electors and the public are invited to hear reports from the Chairman of the Parish and community groups. The meeting also provides an opportunity for the public to express their opinions on what the Parish Council are doing along with discussing other local issues.
The Annual Parish Meeting is organised by the Parish Council but is not a Parish Council Meeting and is a more informal event for the community.
It must be held between 1st March and the 1st June (inclusive) each year and in Newton and Noss, is usually held in March or April preceding the Parish Council Meeting.
There was no meeting held in 2021 due to Covid lockdown.
