The Devon mobile library service is no longer active.
Devon County Council made the decision to end the service in autumn 2023 and the final journeys were made on Thursday 29th February 2024.
We have been communicating directly with customers in Devon over the past few months to ensure that as many people as possible continue to have access to books and our wider services. We’ve been supporting those who can to register with their local library, and signposting others to our Home Library Service, the Good Neighbours scheme, and our BorrowBox app for digital downloads of eBooks, eAudiobooks, eNewspapers and eMagazines.
We would like to thank all of our customers who have used the service over the years, and thank you to our dedicated mobile library service team too.
