Kayak and dingy storage
The Parish Council offers kayak storage to full time residents of the Parish in two locations:
- Newton Ferrers – Big Slip Quay
- Noss Mayo – Noss Hard
Big Slip Quay
This quay on Riverside Road East has room for a small number of kayaks and dinghies. There are current no spaces available and a waiting list is in place.
The spaces are intended for regular users of the river and not long-term storage. The Parish Council makes a charge for the use of Big Slip Quay.
A copy of the rules can be found below.
Noss Hard is home to a large kayak rack owned by the Parish Council. An identical rack offering a further 32 kayak spaces is due to be built this spring.
Full time residents can apply for up to two spaces on the racks each year by completing an application form. There will be a small charge of £20 per year per kayak from April 2022.
