Profile

I have lived in Newton and Noss since 1983.  I served in the Royal Naval Submarine Service until 2000 and then joined the International Chamber of Shipping becoming its Secretary General until retirement in 2018.

I joined the Parish Council in 2020 and was elected as Chair in October 2021.  The character and community spirit of our Parish and its environment are very important to me and I am pleased to do whatever is needed to preserve these aspects.

We are very fortunate to have a proactive Parish Council and Parish Clerk and I am always happy to listen to parishioner’s concerns and to take the appropriate action.
